2017 goals review pt 1. || 2017 Blog Week

I’ve run out of intros so I’m just going straight to the point.

Welcome to Blog Week day 6!!!!

Earlier this year, I posted a new year’s resolution here. Today, I’m going to be doing a kind of review/reaction/checkup on the goals I’d set. So here we go!

1. Quit procrastinating

Procrastination has been a really huge problem for me particularly this year and I honestly can’t say that I’ve overcome it. I still snooze my alarm at least twice a day and  leave assignments until the last minute so no, this is a no 😔

2. Add weight

If you read my first post this year, and my post on my current Favs, you’d figure that even though I love food #foodislife, I never add any weight. So made it one of my goals this year to add some weight (which sounds a bit ridiculous considering the fact that most people are wishing to loose some, not add some). The irony of life, really.

I actually added a little bit more this year but I think I lost it all during finals week #teamnosleep #examstruggles 🤔😔.

But I did get taller, does that count? 🙃

3. Remember people’s birthday more often

Birthdays aren’t one of my strengths but I really think I got better this year.  I mean I used to remember just a handful of people’s birthdays and now I remember two handfuls 😁 (jk)

4. Read more books

Okay this sounds a little cheesy. Virtually every single person on the planet sets the ‘read at least 10-50 books’ goal. Sadly, not many keep it, and by many I mean me 😔. I’ve honestly not finished reading any book this year. I’ve started a few but I never finish for some unknown reason. But if I count school books, then yes, I have done some pretty good this reading year 😁.

5. Be more outspoken

Okay I can’t really judge if I’ve gotten better at this so can let skip this for a bit, shall we 🙃

6. Get more organised

Finally something I can actually say yes to 💃. Throughout the semester, I’ve been getting compliments from a lot of people that walk into my dorm room saying “I love how neat your room is” or “oo, your closet is so organised”. *SCREAMS!!*

It’s been a struggle but I can finally say that I’m a lot more organised in 2017 than I’ve ever been! It feels so good when things are in place and sorted out and stuff is organised…… (*goes on for 10 minutes), and honestly, it not just because of the compliments but the overall fresh feeling. I really can’t explain it but it puts me in such a goooood mood when my room and my life is in order. So thank you countless YouTube videos on organisation tips, thank you 😜 😊

……..

I’m so sorry but that’s all for today.

The part two will be up tomorrow together with a surprise so stay tuned (?)

I’m trying to change up my writing style a bit if you’ve noticed (with the gifs and all ). Please let me what you think 😊😁

Anyways, I’ll see you in my next post and don’t forget :

Keep on being the extraordinary, amazing and wonderful human beings you’ve been created to be 🌟

I love you guys so so so much 😚
