Blessed || Today’s Verse

Hello beautiful people.

Happy Halloween EVERYONE!!  (even though we don’t celebrate Halloween in my country 😔). Anyways, how’ve you guys been? How’s school (for the school-goers), work (for the work-goers) and life in general?  PS, if you want to, you can comment down below how your week has been so far because I really do want to know😊.

Today I’m going to be sharing a verse with you guys and it’s sincerely been ages since I did one of these. It’s also been ages since I’ve posted any OOTWs but I promise that in a few days, I’ll be back on my blogging game. For now I have a lot going on in school so…😑.

Back to the post! Today’s verse is taken from Deuteronomy 28. During my morning devo, I felt prompted to go this particular verse. I couldn’t find it at first but thank God for Google! (if you know what I mean😁).

So here it goes:

Your towns and your fields will be blessed. Your children and your crops will be blessed. The offspring of your herds and flocks will be blessed. Your fruit baskets and breadboards will be blessed. Wherever you go and whatever you do, you will be blessed. “The Lord will guarantee a blessing on everything you do and will fill your storehouses with grain. The Lord your God will bless you in the land he is giving you. Then all the nations of the world will see that you are a people claimed by the Lord , and they will stand in awe of you. “The Lord will give you prosperity in the land he swore to your ancestors to give you, blessing you with many children, numerous livestock, and abundant crops. The Lord will send rain at the proper time from his rich treasury in the heavens and will bless all the work you do. You will lend to many nations, but you will never need to borrow from them. If you listen to these commands of the Lord your God that I am giving you today, and if you carefully obey them, the Lord will make you the head and not the tail, and you will always be on top and never at the bottom.

Deuteronomy 28:3‭-‬6‭, ‬8‭, ‬10‭-‬13 NLT

I really love this verse because it can be used as an affirmation. What I do is personalise it and use it in the present tense. So instead of ‘whatever you do will be blessed’, I say, ‘whatever I do is blessed’.

So yeah, that’s it. Really short and straightforward post. This was one of the verses I read today and I felt like I should share it with you guys. So if you want to, you can screen shot it or write it down in your journal, paste it in your wall, whatever. I just feel like someone out there needed this.

Alright. Thanks for visiting today. Hope you have a happy and productive day!

XO
